Completely automatic, one-hand operation: Turn it on, insert mouthpiece, and have subject blow firmly and steadily. Manual override mode instantly available for special circumstances The unique 64 character graphic display communicates in plain English if the test is not valid for any reason, and prompts the operator on how to proceed. There is no need to find and refer to an Operator’s manual Electronic calibration - eliminates the need for disassembly, tools, or trial and error procedures. Calibration can be completed in less than two minutes. Last Test Recall… no matter what happens during the conduct of an FST, the FC10 will retain the last test result indefinitely. Eliminates need for retesting. The last test result will even survive removal of the batteries or turning the unit off and on. Unique graphic display shows a chart of the subjects breath flow, instantly communicating to officer if subject is attempting to “trick” the device. Electronically controlled sampling mechanism is entirely automatic; eliminates the need for cocking. Unique Password Protection option enables agency to limit calibration to authorized personnel only, and further simplifies operation and eliminates opportunity for operator error.
